Where do you operate?
We operate in Manhattan, Brooklyn and Queens. We’re aiming to cover all of New York City and beyond in the near future.
What are your hours of operation?
Our therapists see patients from 7 am to 8 pm – 7 days a week – but our app is always available to schedule your next session.
How do you choose the right therapist?
Based on the area of discomfort and the notes you’ve provided, we’ll select the best-suited therapist we have available.
How do I know I can trust the therapist you’ve assigned me?
We only hire fully licensed physical therapists with years of experience. All of our therapists are internally vetted by our team. Our hiring process contains a thorough check of their past experience and a face-to-face interview, so we only hire experienced professionals that we trust.
How much does a session cost?
Each session is a flat-rate fee of $149.
How far in advance do I need to schedule an appointment?
We currently require 3 hours advance notice to ensure that we can fulfill your request.
Can I rebook with the same therapist again?
Yes, you will be given the option to rebook with the same therapist when booking your next appointment. However, we cannot guarantee they’ll be available at the time you requested.
Do you accept insurance?
We are out of network for all insurance companies; however, we will provide you with an invoice, itemizing the care provided to you. If your insurance company provides out-of-network benefits, you may qualify for partial or complete reimbursement directly from your insurance company.
How long is a session?
Our sessions last approximately 45 minutes. Your therapist will ensure you’re feeling better by the end of it.
Do I need a consultation first?
No, it isn’t necessary. You can leave your therapist some notes to provide them information regarding your reason for seeking treatment. If our therapist needs more information they will contact you. All notes you’ve left will remain on your account, ready for your next therapist to view.
How experienced are your physical therapists?
We only hire physical therapists with 3+ years in the industry.
What if I need to cancel or reschedule an appointment?
You can reschedule or cancel at any time through the app. However, a $50 fee applies if you cancel within 1 hour of a scheduled appointment. Please contact customer service at support@theryon.com if you need assistance.
